Product Typification

Basis : Polyurethane resin and isocyanat hardener.
Colour : Beige (A), brown (B).
Consistency : Pasty.

Product advantages:
  • Hard and shrinkage-free hardening, water- and solvent-free parquet adhesive on a 2-component PUR basis according to ISO 17178.
  • For laying standard parquet, such as strip parquet, mosaic parquet, upright lamella parquet (also 10 mm thick), standard solid floorboards, solid wood solid wood planks, solid wood lamp parquet products), multi-layer, panel parquet.
Also for the wood type bamboo according to the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Bonding to standard-compliant cementitious and calcium sulphate-bonded screeds, fully sanded mastic asphalt screed, screwed wood-based panels (V100 P4-P7, OSB 2 - 4) and dry screeds, as well as approved Eurocol decoupling,
insulation underlays (e.g. 823 Eurofloor Reno, 820/821 Eurofloor Comfort, 804 Reno Fleece), which are suitable for parquet installation, as well as on non-absorbent subfloors (e.g. fixed and cleaned ceramic and natural stone tiles, artificial stone, metals).
  • Can also be used on designated, not sprinkled with quartz sand reactive primers.
  • The adhesive is characterised by a long setting time. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for large-format parquets.
  • It is highly loadable and fast setting and is characterised by an extended pot life.
  • Coloured in wood colour light brown.
  • Sanding and sealing of parquet is possible after approx. 8 - 10 hours.
  • The adhesive can be used on underfloor heating.
  • For interior use.
  • Very low-emission installation material certified according to EMICODE EC1 Plus R.
  • Emission-tested building product according to DIBt principles.

Sensitive to frost : No.
Remarks :

Technical information and safety data sheets of any installation materials and floor coverings used must be observed!
It is recommended to wear suitable gloves when applying the adhesive, as the reaction components penetrate deep into the skin, penetrate and are difficult to remove. Cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
The adhesive has excellent adhesion properties on most materials. Due to the large number, in case of doubt to carry out adhesion tests during processing.
When bonding to underfloor heating, a stabilising primer with approved Eurocol-Reaction resin primers necessary. In order to reduce adhesion problems on reaction resin primers, these are available in the sand off excess with Eurocol 846 Europlan sand.
The adhesive cures even at lower temperatures. However, due to the higher viscosity at low temperatures affects the processing. The curing time is considerably longer.

For dark woods use Eurocol 151 Euromix Wood Sepia. The adhesive is not suitable under not fully aired (not odourless) smoked oak.

EMICODE, further information at www.emicode.com.
Not a consumer product according to 1999/EG/44.

* The mentioned values have been established in our laboratory and must be considered as guidelines in view of possible variations in climatic circumstances, subfloor compositions and layer thickness.

Consumption:
depending on parquet format and subfloor,
approx. 800 - 900 g/m² (TKB/B3), approx. 1100 - 1300 g/m² (TKB/TKB11-B15).

Substrate:
  • The substrate must be pressure- and tension-resistant, permanently dry, free of cracks and dust, even and free of layers that reduce adhesion.
  • Adhesion-reducing layers, old material residues must be removed by suitable mechanical measures in accordance with the specifications of DIN 18356.
  • Old fixed floors, such as ceramic tiles, terrazzo, stone floors, metals, must be professionally cleaned and sanded matt after drying.
  • Cracks or joints (except structural expansion joints) are to be closed with Eurocol grouting compounds Europlan 913 Silicate.
  • To reduce adhesion problems on reaction resin primers, they should be sprinkled in excess with 846 Europlan Sand.
  • When laying large-format parquet elements, it is necessary to ensure that the laying surface is even.
  • In case of defects, concerns must be reported in writing.

User manual:

Before use, temper the product according to the processing conditions.

  • Empty the hardener component completely into the resin component and mix homogeneously with a suitable stirrer for approx. 5 minutes, also in the wall and bottom areas of the containers. Immediately decant into a clean container and mix again.
  • Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate with a toothed strip adapted to the installation and the substrate roughness. If necessary, the toothed strip can be adjusted accordingly to achieve sufficient grooved back wetting.
  • To extend the working time in the warm season, the material can be mixed, homogenised and then distributed from the container in a puddle-like manner. From the puddles the material is evenly distributed.
  • When laying the parquet/wood paving, do not press glue between the elements to prevent adhesive marks in the joints.
Installed materials must be immediately rolled on using a hand roller or cork rubbing board.
  • Since with reaction adhesives a slight "floating" of the material to be laid cannot be avoided, the laid surface must not be walked on within the first 2 hours. If it is necessary to walk on the surface, load distribution plates must be used to avoid crushing of the adhesive.
  • When working on parquet, ensure that the installed parquet is approx. 1.5 cm away from the wall.
  • If necessary, the glued floor coverings/parquet must be weighted down during the entire setting time, especially in the case of long parquet elements.
  • After a setting time of approx. 2 hours, roll the floor once again with a multi-section roller.
  • Sanding and sealing is possible under standard conditions after setting of the adhesive. Sanding is delayed at low temperatures.

Processing conditions:

at least 15 °C floor temperature,
at least 18°C material and room temperature,
35-75% relative humidity, recommended <65%.

Recommended primers:

Eurocol 048 Europrimer Plus           dust binding under adhesive and primer under levelling compounds.
Eurocol 015 Euroblock MS              must be used with sprinkling of quarzsand
Eurocol 042 Euroblock Turbo           can be used without sprinkling of quarzsand
Eurocol 021 Euroblock Reno LE        must be used with sprinkling of quarzsand
Eurocol 028 Euroblock Rapid           must be used with sprinkling of quarzsand
