From August 2013 Zwolle has the largest top clinical hospital in the Netherlands. With the new construction of the Isala Clinics, a healthcare institution has been built with a floor area of 110,000 m2, nearly 900 beds and about 5,000 employees. All developed in an organic, colorful design that has been implemented in detail in exterior and interior.
The basis: a sustainably built "cure house" in form, function and environment that improves the recovery of patients. Forbo has contributed with nearly 90,000 m2 of flooring.
Several Forbo flooring products have been applied in various colours and designs; Marmoleum, Colorex, Surestep, Eternal and Safestep. Also some customer specific floors have been made.
