The National Football Stadium of Slovakia is unique in its category due to the way it uses renewable resources. Almost 50% of the heating and cooling comes from renewable sources. The project utilizes degraded energy in transitional periods, when the individual parts of the building will be able to heat or cool each other as needed.
The architects were enchanted by the visualization of the large open space with the Flotex by Starck flooring. The Vortex design concept of separate parts that can be freely combined, and the colour tuning in shades of blue, were fully suited to this project. Flotex flocked flooring also met the requirements for high durability and easy cleaning and maintenance.
