St Andrew’s Private Hospital in South Australia has been providing medical and surgical excellence to locals for over 80 years and is one of Australia’s largest standalone and independent private hospitals.
Wiltshire + Swain were seeking a floorcovering for the hospital cafeteria that provided a soft feel underfoot with great acoustics, long-term durability, ease of maintenance and superior resistance to spills and stains. Flotex Tiles met these key requirements for the busy cafeteria.
This high-traffic facility was delighted to see Flotex perform brilliantly from day one and this is due to its unique construction. Flotex has a highly dense surface pile with up to 80 million nylon 6.6 fibres per m2 giving it superior wear, tear and abrasion resistance that does not track out like conventional carpet. Flotex also releases dirt and dust easily when cleaning achieving the UK Allergy seal of approval.
Drink and food spills can easily and quickly be cleaned with just water thanks to the unique product construction and impermeable backing. The fibres are fast drying returning the space back to a usable and safe function quickly. Flotex is a hardworking, long-lasting solution for health and leisure spaces.
