This Western Australia Government Primary School indoor court area was creatively designed by DWA Architects.
The floor plan is designed to facilitate, aid, and motivate the student’s learning process, acknowledging that learning can occur anywhere and at any time, thus providing conditions where learning opportunities can be varied and purposeful without compromising student safety.
Forbo’s Flotex flocked flooring was chosen for the school's indoor court area due to its unique construction; it is a textile floor that performs like a resilient one, making it extremely hard-wearing for intense use. Additionally, it is allergy and asthma friendly and slip-resistant when both dry and wet. Hence in future rollouts of new government primary schools, Flotex will be installed in their indoor court areas.
The hand-cut, court areas outlined on the floor were installed by highly skilled Flotex installers from Carpets Online.
