Avinode was facing a move to new premises in the new scraper at Gamlestadstorget, Gothenburg (Sweden). In the new premises, Avinode wanted to create an attractive office with a strong identity, in order to attract and retain competencies. Avinode aimed for a clear wow-feeling and good working conditions.
The interior design concept is summed up in “shifting from numbers to nature. “The whole office shifts between numbers and nature, allowing the contrasts between these to work. Numbers represent the work, the data and the product, while nature is the contrast - the private, the free and the physical. On the office floor, numbers are concentrated around the meeting rooms and workplaces. Nature is the theme in the common surfaces. Nature is so much more than just green plants. It is life, tactility, movement and health. It is sustainability and shared values. The best thing about Forbo is the wide sustainable floor covering range".
The Marmoleum floor was chosen mainly from an environmental perspective. Marmoleum is a natural, durable floor covering available in an infinite number of clear and beautiful colors. The possibility to create a super-precise pattern using Aquajet technology contributed greatly to the choice of flooring.
