The client decided on a house with an eclectic interior. A surprising combination of old furniture and antiques with modern, carefully selected finishing materials - especially the timeless Forbo Furniture Linoleum – gave the interior a beautiful and individual effect. The kitchen was installed with prefabricated wooden units of our own design and manufacture. When constructing our buildings and interiors, we use environmentally friendly, natural materials, creating a healthy environment for those who use them. We also strive to ensure that our activities have as little impact as possible on the natural environment. A kitchen built with wood, Forbo Furniture Linoleum for cabinet fronts and natural stone were our logical choices.
The kitchen cabinets are made largely of cross-glued wooden panels. The MDF cabinet fronts are covered with black Forbo Furniture Linoleum on both sides. To protect the edges, we used oak veneer, which combines beautifully with the matt surface of the fronts, resulting in a distinctive look.
Together with the natural stone worktops, the overall effect is a kitchen that exudes elegance and sophistication. We also used Forbo Furniture Linoleum to cover and protect the wall behind the kitchen furniture, and Forbo Marmoleum as a floor finish. Forbo products are available for a full range of applications. At the same time, they are safe for our employees and future owners of our homes. When we finish interiors with only natural materials, we take into account that these materials retain their functionality and attractiveness for many years.
