The Colombian Fortaleza facility is the largest modular building in Latin America. It is an innovative, modular, self-supporting, prefabricated and relocatable structure of 37,212 m2, with 4 floors and reaching over 12 metres in height.
The Allura Decibel luxury vinyl tiles were chosen primarily for their acoustic reduction of 19 dB, but the durable 0.8 mm wear layer, designed for heavy commercial use, was also important. The use of tiles with subtle tonal variations in 1x1 metre format in the large open areas made the space appear even larger.
