Flotex was chosen for the guest rooms and corridors because of its durability and the frequent problem of staining in hotel facilities. That the classical design concept of Hotel Montorey Fukuoka could be freely expressed was another a driving force behind its adoption. At the same time, it was used at the Hotel Montorey Kobe in Japan. Both hotels use the same custom design in the corridor area.
