Iwate Medical University Hospital in Japan has been founded more than 120 years ago. The hospital has over 1,000 beds and is one of the largest hospitals in Japan. The hospital is a "patient-friendly hospital" that focuses on patients. The colourful Marmoleum floors provide a nice environment. The design also focused on the creation of light, for areas that don't have a lot of sunshine.
