Kindergarden successful pilot with Modul'Up
Kindergarden, a leading childcare organisation with more than 70 locations in the Netherlands, has had a strong preference for Marmoleum floors for many years. These floors are loved for their durability and ease of maintenance. However, during the renovation of their location at Bankaplein in The Hague, a monumental building, it turned out that Marmoleum was too heavy for the floor's load-bearing capacity. This forced Kindergarden to look for an alternative: Modul'Up.
Modul'Up is a quick-to-lay and circular floor that proved ideal for this project. The floor offers advantages such as easy replacement, good sound absorption and easy maintenance. In addition, Modul'Up is sustainable and fully recyclable. The pilot at Bankaplein was successful, but the decision to use this floor more widely depends on the expansion of the colour range, expected in 2025.
