Architect Sander Griffioen explains why he opted for a combination of Flotex and Marmoleum for the KLM Restaurant Building 133: "The Marmoleum floor was chosen for its maintenance, durability and the desire for a natural look and feel. The Marmoleum Cocoa series lends itself extremely well to this. The light colour is meant to make the restaurant open and light, a place to get energy and to step out of the working environment for a while. Homely accents and fresh furniture colours create a collaborative whole.
The Flotex Savannah flooring is a soft floor covering that is easy to keep clean. It's installed as accent colour and also to mark various zones such as distribution, restaurant, lounge, and traffic areas. The colour schemes were created in close cooperation with KLM branding".
