New sustainable life for an outdated school building..
Numerous sustainability measures were taken during the renovation of the New Lyceum in Bilthoven, The Netherlands. 48% energy is saved by using LED lighting, low-maintenance double-glazed window frames and CO2-controlled ventilation with heating and cooling by means of an air heat pump. Our sustainable Marmoleum flooring was a logical choice for this project. The neutral concrete colors from the Marmoleum Concrete collection combine beautifully with the shades of blue from the Marmoleum Solid and Marbled collections. The central auditorium is the beating heart of the building.
