Company restaurant Club Topicana: peace, comfort and style thanks to Allura Decibel and Flex'

IT giant Topicus, specialising in software solutions for healthcare, education and finance sectors, recently renovated their company restaurant Club Topicana into a modern meeting place. Designed by Stroot Interieur, this space offers employees a nice place to relax, have lunch together or catch up.

Sustainability, soundproofing and a contemporary look played an important role in Stroot Interieur's design. The choice therefore fell on Allura Decibel and Allura Flex ‘ floors, which offer acoustic comfort and ease of maintenance in addition to a modern look. The floors dampen sound, contributing to a calm atmosphere even when the room is full. In addition, we chose to install the Allura Flex' with tackifier. The advantages of this are fast installation and the possibility of reuse. So a conscious choice for both flexibility and sustainability.

The design is a striking combination of herringbone and square concrete-look tiles that blend seamlessly with the greenish tiles in colour Natural scott. This playful colour palette of green, grey and an accent of golden yellow gives the space a fresh, modern look that matches the playful design and sustainable nature of the floors. ‘We wanted to create an inviting and vibrant look, and these colours support that feeling,’ says Sander Stroot of Stroot Interieur.

The result has been very well received by employees. Office manager Judith ter Meulen comments: ‘Every time I step back into the building, I enjoy the result.’ Facility manager Linsey van den Heuvel is also satisfied: ‘What started as an outdoor space is now a great place to meet, eat and relax.’

The end result has exceeded all expectations. The company restaurant has become a popular meeting place, where employees enjoy coming together in fresh and comfortable surroundings. The choice of Allura floors contributes to the job satisfaction and enjoyment of employees at Topicus, making the project a great success.
