The iconic Winternitz villa was built by Adolf Loos and Karel Lhota in 1932 for the Prague lawyer dr. Josef Winternitz and his family. Following many decades of alteration and degradation during and after the war, the villa interior has been undergoing gradual restoration.
Forbo's subtly textured Walton linoleum, in classic colours such as Berlin red and the complementary rosemary green, plays a prominent role in recreating the original atmosphere of the main rooms, study, staircase, bathroom and toilets.
