Colorex SD is a static dissipative homogeneous floor covering in tile format with permanent ESD properties. Because of the dense network of dissipative veins, static charges flow easily through the floor to earth. Colorex SD tiles can withstand the most demanding conditions and offer a perfect solution for highly sensitive areas such as cleanrooms, and for demanding production sites in the electronics, life sciences and manufacturing industry.

Colorex EC is an electrostatic conductive floor covering in tile format with permanent ESD properties. Colorex Plus

Colorex Plus is a high performance floor covering system consisting of adhesive free tiles for all applications areas where expensive sub floor preparation or downtime is an issue. Colorex Plus can be installed without disruption of activities and it can be used immediately after installation, even by fork lift trucks. Colorex Plus is available as electrostatic conductive (EC) option, a basic option and a slip resistant option (R10).

Sphera SD is Forbo's homogeneous vinyl flooring collection with conductive properties in sheet format. Marmoleum Ohmex is a conductive floor covering that meets higher requirements for electrical conductivity. Electrical resistance is improved to < 1-10⁸ Ω (EN1081), ensuring personal safety and protecting equipment that is sensitive to static electricity. Ideal for computer rooms, server rooms and areas with sensitive equipment. Marmoleum Ohmex is 2.5 mm thick and available in 6 colors.

Forbo Flooring Systems offers a range of ESD and cleanroom solutions which can serve the highest demands and requirements of controlled environments.

For example in critical industrial environments where ESD can cause large scale damage, a flooring solution with permanent ESD properties can help to avoid costs from product failure, processing issues, equipment malfunction or hygienic problems.

ESD control, particle control, moisture control or a combination, our Colorex tile ranges offer heavy duty solutions to meet the highest demands.

Colorex tiles are available with different levels of conductivity and in different constructions. We offer Colorex EC permanently conductive tiles, Colorex SD permanently dissipative tiles and Colorex Plus loose lay tiles.

The Forbo Sphera SD | EC sheet collection consists of 2 sub ranges: Sphera SD (Static Dissipative) and Sphera EC (Electrostatic Conductive). Both floor coverings offer a trustworthy flooring solution for the most demanding of controlled environments.

Sphera is produced in Forbo’s new purpose-built European manufacturing plant, which means that all the latest insights and technology have been used to create ‘smart’ and innovative solutions resulting in a premium floor covering.

The benefits of Sphera SD | EC:

• Innovative product development and carefully controlled production processes ensure a flooring solution with permanent conductive properties, which complies with all ESD flooring standards.

About Onyx Impact

Onyx Impact is a functional, high-quality 1.5 mm vinyl wall covering specially developed for cleanrooms and other areas subject to environmental controls and/or high hygiene standards. Onyx Impact is certified by the Fraunhofer Institute for use in cleanrooms up to ISO 3.

Both technically and in terms of design, the Onyx Impact collection is a valuable addition to Forbo's Under Control portfolio. The six light colours are developed in coordination with Colorex and Sphera SD|EC floor coverings to offer a complete solution for controlled environments from floor to wall.

Low emissions and phthalate free manufacturing ensure Onyx Impact can contribute to a healthy indoor environment. The surface protection makes the wall covering easy to clean and provides excellent bacteria and fungi resistance. Furthermore Onyx Impact can be hot welded with colour matching welding rods for perfect water tightness and a hygienic finish.

About Marmoleum Ohmex

Marmoleum Ohmex is a conductive linoleum floor covering that combines excellent sustainability with enhanced electrical resistance (< 1-10⁸ Ω (in accordance with EN1081).

This ensures personal safety and protects equipment that is sensitive to static electricity, like computers and other electronic devices.

Marmoleum Ohmex is made of natural raw materials which makes it a very sustainable conductive flooring choice.

Shops, stores, warehouses. Areas with high traffic needing daily intensive cleaning. Suitable when down time, damp floors, or poor sub floors are an issue.

How it's made
• Of all the electricity we buy, 100% comes from renewable sources. This means all our vinyl production sites, including our Colorex & Sphera plants, are part of an effective environmental management system and achieve ISO14001 certification
• Sphera SD | EC is phthalate free and produced in a zero waste environment

How it performs
• The low plasticiser content ensures low emissions and outgassing.

• The surface of Colorex can be fully repaired extending the useful life of the product. Deep scratches, holes, burns or other surface damage can be easily and effectively repaired, without leaving any trace or affecting the original characteristics of the floor. This genuine, 100% repairable surface is unique to Colorex and something that no other flooring system can promise.
