"We selected Marmoleum for King's Island Community Creche and for five other community creches. When designing for creches our tools include the use of light, colour, textures and spatial distribution to enhance the development of childrens' sensibilities. the wide-ranging selection of Marmoleum colours, both vibrant and restful, contributes to the design. We are also aware that Marmoleum, as a linoleum, is made from natural, renewable materials and has natural bacteriostatic qualities, including against MRSA. Also critical in our choice is the fact that Marmoleum is easily maintained, an important factor where young children are in close contact with the floor.
