For our 0.36m2 project we offered a selected group of creatives a Linoleum pinboard of 60x60 cm and invited them to use it in any way they wanted. This post is the contribution of Barbara Visser photographed in the context of her workplace.

Barbara Visser about her pinboard
Barbara Visser’s pinboard is a staged example of the way she works with archive material. Connecting different references with thin multicolored elastic thread – a form taken from other types of forensic research – she creates a physical network of speculative connections. This way, the 0.36m2 of linoleum became a schematic version of an amount of associations within a project.
