For our 0.36m2 project we offered a selected group of creatives a Linoleum pinboard of 60x60 cm and invited them to use it in any way they wanted. This post is the contribution of Studio Plastique photographed in the context of their workplace.
Studio Plastique was commissioned by MAD Brussels Fashion and Design Platform to design their new reception desk. Several elements of the desk are detachable, re-combinable and mobile for the object to fulfil a manifold of applications. For the horizontal surface of the desk Studio Plastique selected Furniture linoleum.
Archibald and Theresa about themselves: Studio Plastique investigates and designs contexts such as material cycles, production methods, our relationship towards nature and economic potentials, resulting in empathic objects and environments.

‘The world is bananas’: the pinboard of Studio Plastique includes a banana in different stages of decomposition. With this, the Belgian designers visualise their fascination with material cycles and our relationship towards nature.
