Reimar von Meding from KAW architects is known for building energy-neutral, sustainable, CO2-reduced housing. It is not surprising that the choice was made for Marmoleum, the first CO2-neutral floor in the world. Marmoleum flooring consists mainly of natural, renewable materials and is the most durable resilient floor available. It contains no phthalates, no plasticizers and no mineral oil.
The house is extremely comfortable and energy-efficient with large glass surfaces to ensure that a maximum amount of daylight can enter. Furthermore, this gasless home gets its energy from a soil source, heat pump and solar panels on the roof.
