This child center is currently the most sustainable primary school in the Netherlands and is heated by means of an ice cellar. This is done according to the reverse refrigerator principle. The heat that is released during the cooling of the ice is used to heat the school building. Not only by using smart building techniques and installations such as rainwater collection for the toilets, but also by using many natural materials such as our CO2-neutral Marmoleum.
