Vinterparken Snø is one of the world's largest indoor ski arenas that opened in 2019 - a fascinating building with an architectural design reminiscent of a melting glacier or an avalanche. The building comprises two zones: a cold zone housing the winter sports facility for skiing and ice climbing activities, and a warm zone encompassing restaurants, changing rooms, sports shops, an indoor health- and fitness studio, as well as a self-service entrance to the sports facilities.
In the warm zone, apart from the Thon restaurant, 5,000 m2 of Flotex Planks Concrete in the colors 139003 Smoke and 139004 Storm have been installed to create a cozy cabin ambiance inspired by nature, as described by Arne Evensen from Evensen & Bjerke.
