Clear speech

The challenge, interior design: Creating a newspaper editorial office is a task for the experienced. A special mood must be supported, unique tasks gets solved. The development of furniture that meets this challenge requires insight and understanding. They have that at Bjarrum Architects, who have the CV in order, among other things from previous assignments for JP / Politician House at City Hall Square.

Language and grip: JP / Politician's new headquarters at Aarhus harbor was built following a project by Henning Larsen Architects. In environments that historically have roots in the industrial harbor, the materials are raw and nature-based: Concrete, steel, aluminum and glass.
- These are simple and honest materials with a natural solubility, architect Maa Søren Grunnet says, who stated the interior design task for Bjarrum Architects.
- It followed that similar properties should be included in the interior materials, Søren Grunnet points out the reason: The natural in a modern design language.
- Furniture linoleum was the right choice. Because it is a material that is both discreet and edgy at the same time.
Being able to speak clearly without raising your voice is the art.

Detail: JP Policy House is a large and versatile task. Therefore, Bjarrum Architects was looking for a manufacturer who could meet the high demands on craftsmanship detail and a challenging geometry: A circular editorial environment with diameter, 6 m (!) And other workplaces telescopic storage cabinets that can form a screen wall in an extended position. A high table is 10 m long!
WO Interior solved it all with Furniture linoleum.
Søren Grunnet: - The green Furniture 4174 (conifer) on the editorial circle is of course inspired by the Jyllands-Postens logo color!
