​Närlundaskolan​

The municipality of Askersund is located on the northern Vättern archipelago. Närlundaskolan is the municipality's largest school, beautifully located in the city of Askersund, close to both forests and lakes. The school is an F-6 school with approx. 420 students. The beautiful surroundings have inspired the school's colors and interior, where lake, blue and forest hill, green have been the inspiration for the colors. The coloring in the different parts of the school creates security and makes it easy for students to recognize themselves. Great focus has been placed on materials that provide good cleanability, sound and light environment. Principal Johanna Thomas says that the close collaboration with architect and contractor has enabled a school accessible to all students with well-thought-out material choices based on sustainability and the environment.
