What is the best thing about your job?
The variety of work and the people I work with. No day is ever the same.
What were your first days at work like?
I joined the business in 2002 and found my first days really interesting. To obtain an understanding of the production process, I initially spent time in each Production area. All the people that worked here were really friendly and helpful and I had a thorough induction.
What does your work involve?
As an Engineering Team Leader I manage a small team, covering three shifts. My main duties are planning the workload, managing projects and dealing with mechanical breakdowns.
What do you think is the strength of Forbo as a company?
It’s people. The development it makes in promoting its brand and always looking for better solutions and staying ahead.
