Forbo return to InnoTrans

Last month, the world’s largest railway trade fair returned to Berlin for the first time in 4 years. InnoTrans 2022 attracted over 140,000 visitors from 131 countries and attendants got to visit over 2,800 exhibitors from 56 different countries. Forbo Flooring Systems welcomed both familiar and new faces onto the stand over the course of the 4 days, here’s a recap of the trade fair.
Our CO₂ -neutral (cradle-to-gate) floor covering, Marmoleum FR2 created high amounts of interest and drew visitors from across the globe to our stand. Due to its high percentage of natural raw materials, with renewable and recycled content the floor covering addresses the issue of sustainability, a popular topic in conversation over the course of the event.
Forbo’s impressive cutting ability was showcased on the stand with a bicycle, pushchair and Forbo logo inlaid, cut by our in-house computer-controlled machines, producing precision cut items accurate to a fraction of a millimetre.
Even though the stand design focused solely on Marmoleum FR2, Forbo's other rail products certainly weren't forgotten about.
Our new Coral Move Vision FR collection also created a buzz due to the impressive digital printing ability, resulting in an exceptionally versatile, premium cut pile carpet solution. While Forbo’s famous Flotex FR stood out due to its durability, alongside our Coral FR entrance flooring and sound-absorbing Fleet FR wall covering, there was a lot to discuss.
Stefan Jordan, Transport Key Account Manager for the D/A/CH Region, was on the Forbo stand in the Deutsche Bahn Ideenzug tent where Marmoleum FR2 featured in the Ideenzug City mock up and our entrance flooring, Coral FR could be seen in the Ideenzug Regio mock up.
