She uses her expertise to coordinate and implement hygiene and compliance programs related to conveyor belt applications worldwide.
Delia Justable's commitment to food safety goes beyond the boundaries of the company. She is a member of food industry associations such as the American Society of Baking (ASB), the European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) and the Bakery Equipment Manufacturers & Allieds (BEMA).
Specialist for food hygiene safety at Forbo Movement Systems
In 2019, she took on the task of developing a checklist for risk assessment in the manufacturing of grain-based products (e.g. baked goods) within the Baking Industry Forum (BIF) together with Karl Thorson (General Mills) and Jeremiah Tilghman (Canyon Bakehouse). The list is now available and provides very detailed and structured instructions that help to minimize risks and maintain the required high standards.
Production processes and individual work steps are thus recorded in a standardized way and help to increase efficiency in the company.
Delia and her team have thus created a user-friendly tool for the evaluation of food safety in the production process that offers real added value for customers in this field.
