Storage | : | Store cool and dry in unopened packaging. |
Shelf Life | : | Approx 12 months, in unopened packaging. After use close the open packaging well. |
Cleaner | : | 815 Euroclean HandClean, 358 ToolCleaner. |

Remarks | : | Technical information and safety data sheets of other installation materials and parquet must be observed! To protect against humidity in case of partial removal, cover the adhesive with the enclosed foil immediately after finishing work and close the container tightly. Allow the soiling on the upper side of the parquet to harden and then rub off any residues with 815 Euroclean Handclean, then treat with a suitable care product if necessary. With oiled surfaces, the open porosity of the oil surface can make it difficult to remove adhesive residues. The influence of the cleaner on the surface of factory-finished parquet must be tested in advance on a concealed area or sample. For non-standard parquet types please contact our application technology department! The adhesive is not recommended under Woodblock RE and WE. Emicode, further information under www.EMICODE.com. |
* The mentioned values have been established in our laboratory and must be considered as guidelines in view of possible variations in climatic circumstances, subfloor compositions and layer thickness.
Consumption:
depending on parquet format and subfloor,
approx. 800 - 1000 g/m² (TKB/B3)
approx. 1000 - 1200 g/m² (TKB/B11).
Substrate:
- The substrate must be pressure- and tension-resistant, permanently dry, free of cracks and dust, even and free of layers that reduce adhesion.
- Adhesion-reducing layers, old material residues must be removed by suitable mechanical measures in accordance with the specifications of DIN 18356.
- Old fixed floors, such as ceramic tiles, terrazzo, stone floors, metals, must be professionally cleaned and sanded matt after drying.
- Cracks or joints (except structural expansion joints) are to be closed with Eurocol grouting compounds Europlan 913 Silicate.
Recommended primers:
Eurocol 048 Europrimer Plus | Dispersion for dust binding under the adhesive and primer under levelling compounds |
Eurocol 015 Euroblock MS | 1-C SPM Moisture barrier, applicable without sanding |
Eurocol 042 Euroblock Turbo | 1-C PUR Moisture barrier, applicable without sanding |
Eurocol 021 Euroblock Reno LE, | 2-C EP Moisture barrier, applicable with sanding |
Eurocol 028 Euroblock Rapid | 2-C EP Moisture barrier, applicable with sanding |
- When laying large-format parquet elements, it is necessary to ensure that the laying surface is even. Use levelling compounds suitable for parquet flooring.
- In case of defects, concerns must be reported in writing.
User manual:
- Before use, temper the product according to the processing conditions.
- Remove any ”skin” on top of the adhesive, do not stir or mix any skin with adhesive.
- Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate with a toothed strip adapted to the installation and the substrate roughness. If necessary, the toothed strip can be adjusted accordingly to achieve sufficient grooved back wetting. In the case of long elements, the toothed strip must be enlarged accordingly.
- When laying the parquet, do not press glue between the elements to prevent adhesive marks in the joints and prevent possible interactions with the parquet lacquer. *
- Installed materials must be immediately rolled on using a hand roller or cork rubbing board.
- Since with reaction adhesives a slight "floating" of the material to be laid cannot be avoided, the laid surface must not be walked on within the first 2 hours. If it is necessary to walk on the surface, load distribution plates must be used to avoid crushing of the adhesive.
- When working on parquet, ensure that the installed parquet is approx. 1.5 cm away from the wall.
- If necessary, the glued parquet must be weighted down during the entire setting time, especially in the case of long parquet elements.
- After a setting time of approx. 2 hours, roll the floor once again with a multi-section roller.
- Sanding and sealing is possible under standard conditions after setting of the adhesive. Sanding is delayed at low temperatures, relativ humidity and high adhesive application rate by up to 2 days.
When installing parquet without tongue and groove joints, use only approved Eurocol parquet lacquers and care products work. Interactions cannot be excluded when using unknown, non-approved systems.
Recommended parquet finishes and oils:
Eurocol 858 Eurofinish M Protect | 1-C PUR Water-based varnish, self-crosslinking without basic primer |
Eurocol 884 Eurofinish Perfect Duo | 2-C-PUR Water-based varnish, without basic primer |
Eurocol 832 Eurofinish Duo | 2-C-PUR Water-based varnish, without basic primer |
Eurocol oil product range | all products |
With this adhesive, standard-compliant parquet can also be glued directly onto non-sprinkled, specially approved Eurocol reaction resin primers or approved dispersion primers.
The adhesive has excellent adhesion properties in combination with most types of wooden floors. Due to the large variety of wooden floors, in case of doubt, we recommend to carry out adhesive tests before processing, especially in the case of exotic woods.
Due to the elastic bonding, care must be taken to reduce side gluing when using water-based parquet sealants.
When gluing critical parquet formats to underfloor heating (e.g. solid plank, bamboo, 16 mm vertical lamella) a stabilising primer with approved Eurocol reaction resin primers** is necessary.
Processing conditions:
at least 15 °C floor temperature,
at least 18°C material and room temperature,
35-75% relative humidity, recommended <65%.
