For the Collège du Vigner in Saint-Blaise, Switzerland, the architectural firm Patrick Minder Architectes has designed three new buildings that complete the school complex in the center of the village. Completed in 2020, they are characterized by a reduced, clear design. Another feature is the windmill-like, centrifugal arrangement: it facilitates orientation, opens up differentiated views, and at the same time strengthens the integration of the school complex into its surroundings.
The clear, simple and elegant design is continued in the interior areas and finds the ideal complement in the Marmoleum Concrete linoleum floorings from Forbo Flooring: because these attractively combine a cool concrete look with warm color tones in many variants. Concrete was laid in the classrooms, its subtle, clay-gray look blending perfectly with the light-filled learning environment. In the corridors and on the stairs, on the other hand, invigorating color accents provide a strong visual accentuation of the surfaces. All floorings are equipped ex works with Topshield pro and thus offer the best usage properties for everyday school life.
