Between the cities Böblingen and Sindelfingen is a former airfield whose associated airport was last used by the US Army. After deducting the crew, the space was available and the 2 cities took advantage of this opportunity to jointly develop a new urban district with a mixed use of production, services, research, education and housing.
The KiTa airfield is the newest building of the district, and now the location of a kindergarten. The architect chose Marmoleum Graphic as floor covering for the kindergarten, as it combines well with the concrete walls of the building and the intense colors that are used. (The used color is no longer in collection, similar designs can be found here.
