Marmoleum

Conductive linoleum

Marmoleum Ohmex is a conductive floor covering that meets higher requirements for electrical conductivity. Electrical resistance is improved to < 1-10⁸ Ω (EN1081), ensuring personal safety and protecting equipment that is sensitive to static electricity. Ideal for computer rooms, server rooms and areas with sensitive equipment. Marmoleum Ohmex is 2.5 mm thick and available in 6 colours.

About Marmoleum Ohmex

About Marmoleum Ohmex

Our Marmoleum Ohmex conductive linoleum meets higher requirements for electrical conductivity. Its electrical resistance is improved to < 1-10⁸Ω (in accordance with EN 1081). This makes Ohmex very suitable for use in areas with sensitive equipment like computers and server rooms.

STATIC ELECTRICITY
Friction and subsequent separation of 2 objects can generate triboelectrification, the most known source of static electrical discharge, causing for example electrical shocks when touching metal objects. The discharge can cause damage to electrical equipment.

ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE
A floor covering with low electrical resistance can quickly dissipate electrical charges. Electrical resistance is expressed in Ohm (Ω). Marmoleum Ohmex has an increased electrical resistance of < 10⁸Ω (EN1081). This ensures personal safety and protects equipment that is sensitive to static electricity, like computers and other electronic devices.
