The museographic project for Galactica is inspired by the unique architecture of the building designed by Mytaki studio, marked by its distinctive elliptical shape in Arcos de las Salinas. This museographic approach starts with the premise that the layout and interior design should naturally extend from the existing architecture, adopting the ellipse, a dominant form in the building's design and a recurring figure in the cosmos, as the core of its concept. The organization of the space and the exhibition sequence are built around this principle, offering a journey that is both a physical and thematic exploration of the universe, through organic forms and laminar flows that directly emerge from the architectural structure, facilitating a discovery experience for the visitor.
To complement the visual narrative of the space, Galactica has implemented a color palette dominated by white, taking advantage of its ability to enhance the sensation of spaciousness and brightness, thus referring to the clarity and expansion of knowledge. This scheme is enriched with visual and multimedia elements that bring flashes of color, related to the universal theme, in harmony with the original architectural design. In this way, Galactica achieves a balance between aesthetic coherence and exhibition functionality, creating a museographic environment that is both a tribute to the elliptical shape of the building and an invitation to explore the wonders of the universe.
