Weinzuhause - the name says it all: in the middle of the vineyards, in the heart of the Rheinhessen wine-growing region, the Wild couple have created a unique place of hospitality and culinary delights. A temporary home that offers guests numerous opportunities to relax and enjoy themselves. 20 high-quality hotel rooms, exquisite regional dishes and fine wines from their own production are part of the offer. In addition, there is a large conference room that can be used for meetings and company events as well as for private celebrations. For guests arriving by motorhome, there are fully equipped parking spaces.

The impetus for the new building was the need for further development of the family-owned winery. In tranquil Mommenheim, there was a lack of accommodation and suitable gastronomy. So the family decided to create the missing offer themselves. In 2019, the winery first moved to the new location, and the hotel, restaurant and vinotheque opened in autumn 2022. Thanks to the large windows, visitors can enjoy a unique view of the beauty of the landscape from the Taunus to the Odenwald.

Sustainability played a major role in the selection of building materials. A pellet heating system and a solar installation supply the house with climate-friendly electricity and heat. The building, designed by the architectural firm Kleinschmitt, is characterised by a straightforward, open style. The generous use of glass and light gives the impression of space and spaciousness, while at the same time wood and other natural building materials create a cosy atmosphere of well-being.

When it came to the flooring, the Wild couple opted for Allura design flooring from Forbo - almost throughout the entire property. Compared to real wood floors, the vinyl flooring scored with its robustness, ease of maintenance and good price-performance ratio. At the same time, the wood look blends in perfectly with the ambience of the house and underlines its character as a place of peace and enjoyment. A true wine home.
