Nuway Connect

Nuway Connect is versatile roll-up single sided entrance system that’s easy to shape on site, making it ideal for awkwardly shaped entrances.

Where to use

The location, type and level of traffic affects
the choice of product. Nuway Connect is suitable for very heavy traffic entrances. For entrances where intense traffic or high point loading is expected, our Tuftiguard or Tuftiguard HD ranges may be more suitable.

Internal or external entrances

Matting placed outside will defend against soil and the coarsest of footborne dirt. Inside it will defend against foot-borne moisture and finer dirt particles.
Nuway Connect is available for both internal and external entrances depending on the choice of insert.

Reversible

Nuway Connect is a single sided mat and so cannot be reversed to allow both sides to be used, unlike our Tuftiguard ranges.

Finishes

There is a wide choice of inserts which can be mixed, allowing Connect to be adapted to suit individual requirements. This includes bristle, rubber, Ultragrip rubber and Coral textile inserts. All inserts can also be replaced on site helping to extend the wear-life of the product.

Connect with Coral inserts allows the rigid entrance system to be matched to Coral Classic sheet product to create colour coordinated entrance areas.

Moisture removal

Removing moisture from the soles of shoes is vital to prevent people slipping on interior surfaces. Connect with Coral inserts will remove more moisture than the other Connect inserts.

Range options

All four elements of Nuway Connect, Rubber, Ultragrip Rubber, Bristles and Coral Classic inserts can be mixed and matched to create the precise entrance system to meet your needs.

Pick your insert

4 row bristle – for removal of coarse dirt. Available on 17 and 22mm only. For interior and exterior use.

Ultragrip Rubber - for sure footing in multi directional entrances. For interior and exterior use

Rubber - for exterior and interior use

Coral Classic - for removing moisture and fine dirt. For interior use only.

Mix and match your options

Every entrance has a unique environment so Connect allows you to mix and match inserts to suit your exact requirements. For areas with heavy soiling you may want to include bristle, but if the issue is mainly one of moisture, a mat that’s predominantly Coral Classic inserts may be the optimum one.

Choose your construction

Open – This format allows dirt to be collected in the matwell rather than the surface and it’s easily rollable for cleaning.

Closed – This format gives improved functionality of the entrance mat as there is a greater surface of inserts

Select your depth

The choice of height will largely be dependent on the depth of the matwell.

Due to the different construction of the 10mm depth product, there is a greater visibility of the aluminium carrier that on the other two heights

Considerations
As with all aluminium matting systems of this type, in very brightly lit entrances, the strong contrast between a light aluminium carrier and a dark coloured insert can sometimes create a strobe effect which should be prevented. To avoid disorientating pedestrians affected by this type of visual disturbance, consider using a less contrasting insert.

If you are considering using rubber inserts for an exterior mat in an exposed entrance we recommend using a combination of rubber and bristle or Ultragrip rubber for maximum slip resistance.
