Blackhall Supported Accommodation

Blackford Crescent is a purpose built centre comprising two adjoining single-storey, four bedroom houses, each with living, dining, kitchen and recreational facilities. Managed by the Richmond Fellowship of Scotland, the centre enables supported
independent living for its tenants. Forbo’s Flotex was specified by Jonathan Wood, Project Architect at Barrs Construction, for the communal living and dining areas.

As an integrated flooring solutions supplier, 46m2 of Marmoluem Real, Forbo’s highly sustainable linoleum flooring, was installed in the Graphite colourway in the corridors, while 10m2 of Coral Duo entrance matting in the Grey colourway was fitted in the hallways to scrape off the worst of the soil and moisture walked in on the soles of shoes, reducing the potential for slip hazards. The complementary colourways across the three flooring ranges were chosen to work in harmony, creating an integrated solution throughout the flooring design.

Forbo’s Flotex was specified by Jonathan Wood, Project Architect at Barrs Construction, for the communal living and dining areas. The goal was to create a relaxed but modern environment, so Jonathan selected products from the Flotex Classics and Flotex HD sheet collections in a range of complementary colourways.
