Local School Rehabilitation for Resilience helped support 12 selected communities affected by the war. As part of the project, schools affected by the invasion were renovated in three regions of Ukraine: Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Kharkiv. In addition to direct repair of damage, the project aimed to improve the school space and equipment. Forbo's flooring solutions were chosen for their design, functionality and resilience. Decisions took place in discussion with teachers and students, and schools were renovated by professional architects, builders and volunteers. Collaboration with the SavED Foundation and the School Initiative under U-LEAD bolstered school renovation.
