Located in the heart of NOMA, along with 35 other commercial interiors/built environment specialists, our pod in the Material Source Studio (MSS) is the perfect place to learn about Forbo’s CO2 neutral Marmoleum.

Our pod at Manchester Material Source

Our pod is the perfect place to discover our flooring finishes from sustainable Marmoleum to specialist Sarlon acoustic & Modul’up fast fit to Coral entrance matting.

Marmoleum’s raw materials (97% natural) are on display and loose samples of all ranges featured are available to take away to become part of your design vision.

No appointment is needed, just check our opening hours and pop along. There are plenty of uniquely designed spaces for you to concentrate or collaborate, discover more at ‘why visit’.

You won't be coming to just see us (although we look forward to seeing you).

On visiting NOMA's Hanover Building, you'll find world-class products and materials to suit every project from hospitality, workplace and healthcare, to residential, retail, education and the public realm.

Alongside established products and materials, you'll also discover new makers that are pushing the boundaries, fuelling thought, discussion, ideas and exciting collaborations.

In addition to our partners, there is an 80-seat theatre, 300+ book library, 18-person CPD studio, 7 meeting spaces, a podcast studio and gallery.

For those travelling by train: Material Source Studio is a 3 minute walk (0.2mile) from Manchester Victoria Station and 16 minute walk (0.8mile) from Salford Central Station.

For those travelling by car: parking is 1 minute away (Car Park Manchester Printworks, Shudehill, Manchester M4 4AA).

Studio opening hours

The Studio's opening hours are 1000 hrs - 1830 hrs Monday to Friday (closed weekends and bank holidays), and it operates an open-door policy. General enquiries should be sent to:

When visiting the Studio, check-in/registration for a Material Source account will be required. Once you have an account, it just takes a quick QR code scan on arrival. You can register in advance:
