All the recommended Prolink plastic modular belts made by Forbo Siegling for the meat and poultry industry meet the strict requirements of the NSF/ANSI/3-A SSI 14159-3-2019 standard. This standard regulates the construction of mechanical conveying belts used in meat and poultry processing, ensuring maximum hygiene and cleaning capability. Forbo products are subjected here to comprehensive tests and factory inspections. Our plastic modular belt fabrication sites also meet this standard through regular inspections and material analyses.

EHEDG

The new Forbo product line for homogeneous Fullsan belts, developed specially for hygienic applications, has been certified by the EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group). Both the fully homogeneous type FLT U30 and the smooth-surfaced aramid-reinforced type FLT+ meet the EHEDG directives for Hygienic Equipment Class I. This certification confirms the exceptional hygienic safety and cleaning ability of the Fullsan belts.

HALAL

HALAL certification stands for cleanliness and compliance with religious regulations – an important property for many people. Our homogeneous Siegling Fullsan belts, most of the Siegling Transilon PU and PVC types and all Siegling Prolink POM belts are HALAL-certified and therefore meet the strict requirements for cleanliness and hygiene.

Kosher

Kosher certification plays a central role for companies that produce or process foodstuffs according to Jewish dietary laws. To meet these strict requirements, the conveyor belts made by Forbo Movement Systems, including Siegling Fullsan and many Transilon and Prolink types, are Kosher-certified. This certification guarantees that our products meet the highest of standards with regards to cleanliness and hygiene as required for the processing of kosher foodstuffs.
