  • Product Typification

    Basis : 1-C SMP
    Colour : Light brown.
    Consistency : Pasty.

    Product advantages:
    • According to ISO 17178, hard-elastic and shrinkage-free hardening, water- and solvent-free parquet adhesive based on SMP.
    • For laying standard-compliant strip, multi-layer, mosaic*, panel, upright slat parquet* (from 10 mm), solid wood, lamparquet
products* (width/thickness ratio of less than 5:1), standard-compliant solid planks >= 15 mm thick (thickness/width ratio max. 1:7).
    • Also suitable for the wood types bamboo, smoked oak and especially for surface-treated parquet.
Bonding is carried out on standard-compliant cementitious and calcium sulphate-bound screeds, standard-compliant, fully sanded
mastic asphalt screeds, screwed wood-based panels (V100 P4-P7, OSB 2 - 4), dry screeds, approved Eurocol decoupling and
insulating underlays (e.g. 823 Eurofloor Reno, 820/821 Eurofloor Comfort, 804 Reno Fleece) that are suitable for parquet
installation.insulation underlays (e.g. 823 Eurofloor Reno, 820/821 Eurofloor Comfort, 804 Reno Fleece) that are suitable for laying
parquet, as well as on non-absorbent substrates (e.g. fixed and cleaned ceramic and natural stone slabs, cast stone, metals).
    • Can also be used on designated, non-sanded Eurocol reactive primers.
    • The adhesive is characterized by a long laying time. Floating of the parquet elements is greatly reduced due to the high
suction adhesion. Therefore particularly suitable for large-format parquet.
    • Coloring in wood color light brown.
    • With high impact sound improvement.
    • Can generally be used without primer.
    • Easily removable from lacquered surfaces, therefore particularly suitable for surface-treated parquet types.
    • Sanding and sealing is possible after 12 hours if applied correctly.
    • The adhesive can be used on underfloor heating.
    • For indoor use.
    • Very low-emission installation material.
    • No interactions with surface treatment agents are to be expected after proper processing
    • Declared by baubook, "ecological building product"

    approx. 800 - 1000 g/m² (TKB/B3)
    approx. 1000 - 1200 g/m² (TKB/B11).
    Curing : Approx 12 - 48 hours. *
    Flammability : Non-flammable.
Special quality : Very long open time.
  • Application

    For installation of strip parquet

    • solid parquet

    • permitted solid floor boards >= 15 mm thickness (thickness ratio of less than 1:7)

Also suitable for the wood species bamboo, smoked oak.

  • Working Process
Tools : Adhesive spreader. The type of spreader depends material and subfloor.
Open time : Approx. 60 minutes.*
    Curing : Approx 12 - 48 hours. *
Storage : Store cool and dry in unopened packaging.
Shelf Life : Approx 12 months, in unopened packaging. After use close the open packaging well.
    Cleaner : 815 Euroclean HandClean, 358 ToolCleaner.
    Sensitive to frost : No.
    Remarks :

Technical information and safety data sheets of other installation materials and parquet must be observed! To protect against humidity in case of partial removal, cover the adhesive with the enclosed foil immediately after finishing work and close the container tightly. Allow the soiling on the upper side of the parquet to harden and then rub off any residues with 815 Euroclean Handclean, then treat with a suitable care product if necessary. With oiled surfaces, the open porosity of the oil surface can make it difficult to remove adhesive residues. The influence of the cleaner on the surface of factory-finished parquet must be tested in advance on a concealed area or sample. For non-standard parquet types please contact our application technology department! The adhesive is not recommended under Woodblock RE and WE.

    * The mentioned values have been established in our laboratory and must be considered as guidelines in view of possible variations in climatic circumstances, subfloor compositions and layer thickness.

    Consumption:
depending on parquet format and subfloor,
    approx. 800 - 1000 g/m² (TKB/B3)
    approx. 1000 - 1200 g/m² (TKB/B11).

    Substrate:
    • The substrate must be pressure- and tension-resistant, permanently dry, free of cracks and dust, even and free of layers that reduce adhesion.
    • Adhesion-reducing layers, old material residues must be removed by suitable mechanical measures in accordance with the specifications of DIN 18356.
    • Old fixed floors, such as ceramic tiles, terrazzo, stone floors, metals, must be professionally cleaned and sanded matt after drying.
    • Cracks or joints (except structural expansion joints) are to be closed with Eurocol grouting compounds Europlan 913 Silicate.

    Recommended primers:

    Eurocol 048 Europrimer Plus

Dispersion for dust binding under the adhesive and
    primer under levelling compounds

    Eurocol 015 Euroblock MS

1-C SPM Moisture barrier, applicable without sanding

    Eurocol 042 Euroblock Turbo

1-C PUR Moisture barrier, applicable without sanding

    Eurocol 021 Euroblock Reno LE,

2-C EP Moisture barrier, applicable with sanding

    Eurocol 028 Euroblock Rapid

2-C EP Moisture barrier, applicable with sanding

    • When laying large-format parquet elements, it is necessary to ensure that the laying surface is even. Use levelling compounds suitable for parquet flooring.
    • In case of defects, concerns must be reported in writing.

    User manual:
    • Before use, acclimate the product according to the processing conditions.
If a surface skin has formed in the bucket, remove it without stirring!

    • Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate using a notched trowel suitable for the installation method and substrate roughness. If necessary, adjust the trowel to ensure sufficient rib-shaped back-wetting. For long planks, use a larger trowel to achieve adequate rib-shaped back-wetting.

    • Avoid pressing adhesive between the elements to prevent joint markings and possible interactions with the parquet finish.

    • A slight floating of the elements during installation is material-specific and should be considered in the application process.

    • The glued parquet elements should be weighted down throughout the entire curing period, especially for long parquet elements.

    • Sanding and sealing are possible under standard conditions after the adhesive has cured.
On dense substrates, and/or in conditions of low humidity, low temperatures, and/or high adhesive application, the sandability may be delayed by up to two days.

When installing parquet without tongue and groove joints, use only approved Eurocol parquet lacquers and care products work. Interactions cannot be excluded when using unknown, non-approved systems.

    Recommended parquet finishes and oils:

    Eurocol 858 Eurofinish M Protect

1-C PUR Water-based varnish, self-crosslinking without basic primer

    Eurocol 884 Eurofinish Perfect Duo

2-C-PUR Water-based varnish, without basic primer

    Eurocol 832 Eurofinish Duo

2-C-PUR Water-based varnish, without basic primer

    Eurocol oil product range

    all products

With this adhesive, standard-compliant parquet can also be glued directly onto non-sprinkled, specially approved Eurocol reaction resin primers or approved dispersion primers.

The adhesive has excellent adhesion properties in combination with most types of wooden floors. Due to the large variety of wooden floors, in case of doubt, we recommend to carry out adhesive tests before processing, especially in the case of exotic woods.

Due to the elastic bonding, care must be taken to reduce side gluing when using water-based parquet sealants.

When gluing critical parquet formats to underfloor heating (e.g. solid plank, bamboo, 16 mm vertical lamella) a stabilising primer with approved Eurocol reaction resin primers** is necessary.

    Processing conditions:

at least 15 °C floor temperature,
at least 18°C material and room temperature,
    35-75% relative humidity, recommended <65%.
