Community and context provide energy which is good to recognize at an early age. Architecture and interior design solutions can help with this, which the Kindergarten Anthill in Tørring is a good example of. The project is at the same time an illustration of sustainability on many levels: Well thought out solutions for operation and maintenance, an optimal indoor climate and the use of materials with qualitative climate and environmental data. Marmoleum collections are part of the solution, as are the Sphera vinyl programs and non-slip SureStep.

The children's home's many possibilities are available around a common square, the 'heart' of the building, which with its quiet coating of Marmoleum concrete in its liquid clay acts as a centre of attention. Based on the square are color codes which signal kindergarten (Marmoleum marbled gold), nursery (Marmoleum fresco red copper) and staff facilities (Marmoleum real green).

- It has been crucial that color schemes and material attitudes are perfectly orchestrated in relation to the functions and together frame the very special environment found in the Kindergarten Anthill, architect Maa and partner in Architectural firm Frost Larsen A / S, Christian Bøgh Jensen explains and elaborates: good indoor climate and a varied inspiring visual environment have been a basic parameter in the design of the building, so that play, learning and life are given optimal conditions.

The fact that Forbo's linoleum and vinyls were chosen is simply explained: Forbo has the wide and varied color scheme to suit such a task, and then it was a requirement that the chosen vinyl products should be non-slip.
